Your privacy and the confidentiality of your vehicle telemetry are foundational to our mission. This Privacy Policy describes how Trakium (developed and operated by Our Apps World, "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, protects, and discloses personal data and device information when you install and use our mobile application and related services.

Trakium is engineered as a secure client interface for the open-source and enterprise Traccar GPS tracking platform. We operate on the principle of strict data minimization: we only process information that is strictly required to render real-time vehicle tracking, fleet management, and emergency security notifications.

3. Location Data & Background Permissions Disclosure

Because Trakium is a GPS fleet and asset tracking application, location services are foundational to its utility.

A. Vehicle Hardware Location

The physical GPS hardware installed in your vehicles transmits location telemetry directly to your configured Traccar backend server. Trakium acts as the viewer and controller for this data stream over encrypted WebSocket (WSS) and HTTPS channels.

B. User Device Location

When you grant location permission ("While Using the App" or "Always"), Trakium accesses your device GPS only for explicit user benefits:

• Proximity Visualization: Displaying your current location relative to your parked or moving vehicles on the map.
• Directions to Vehicle: Plotting transit navigation from your current position to a selected asset.
• Android Home-Screen Widgets: Periodically updating vehicle distance readouts on your home screen widget.

We never sell, rent, or broker your personal location data to third-party ad networks or data brokers.

4. Third-Party Service Providers & SDKs

Trakium integrates select high-performance software development kits (SDKs) to deliver essential functionality:

• Map Providers:
  • Google Maps SDK: For interactive satellite and vector mapping, reverse geocoding, and traffic overlays.
  • Apple MapKit: For native, privacy-first vector mapping on iOS and iPadOS.
  • OpenStreetMap (OSM): For open-source, community-driven cartography.
• Push Notifications:
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): For dispatching immediate push notifications when geofence or vehicle security alarms trigger.
• Crash Analytics:
  • Firebase Crashlytics: Captures anonymized crash traces to ensure app stability across various iOS and Android device architectures.

5. Data Security & Storage Architecture

We employ industry-standard administrative, physical, and technical safeguards:

• Encryption in Transit: All communication between the Trakium client and your Traccar server is strictly encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.2 / TLS 1.3).
• Secure Local Storage: User authentication tokens and session credentials are stored within iOS Keychain / Android EncryptedSharedPreferences.
• Direct Connection Architecture: Your tracking data resides on your designated Traccar server. Trakium does not route your private telemetry through external proprietary intermediate servers.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, we will take immediate steps to delete such data.

7. User Rights & Data Deletion (Account Purge)

You retain full control over your personal information:

• Access and Rectification: You can view and modify your vehicle nicknames, geofences, and alert preferences directly in the app settings.
• Account Deletion: If you wish to permanently delete your account, session logs, or associated server records, you may do so directly from within the app under Settings → Account → Delete Account, or by submitting a written request to imran@ourappsworld.com.
• Revoking Permissions: You can withdraw location and notification permissions at any time via your device’s system settings (iOS Settings → Trakium / Android App Info → Permissions).

8. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory requirements. Any updates will be posted to this page with an updated "Effective Date". Continued use of the application following the posting of updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
